TABLE RUNNERS

This is my 1st Project. Quilted Table Runner for my Son. He hasn't seen it yet, since he's been in the Arabian Sea, flying Sorties over Afghanistan from the Deck of the USS Carl Vinson. I made 4 Matching Place Mats, then, 'Apliqued' 4 Snowmen from Scrap Material on the Corners of the Place Mats. We'll just Celebrate Christmas a month Late...
Front Center 4 Patches are 6" Log Cabins, the 2 End Pieces are 4, 6" 9-Patch & 6" Christmas Trees (Flying Geese approach?). I alternated the Trees & 9-Patches, puting 2 Green and 2 Red together. The Log Cabin Pieces represent our Home and the 9-Patch represent Gifts under our Tree! Size approx 18"X 42" Should you want one, similar...they're $100 each, S&H&I, Included. This was my 4th Project & my 1st at Quilting... I made this Runner for my Wife for Christmas...a little late! I started on it on New Year's Day and finished it 3 days later. I saw the Design on the Web while Surfing. Looked pretty simple to me...so I gave it a try. The Back is Quilted and I sewed 2 Strips of Fabric to the Back and added Velcro so she could use it on a wall hung Quilt Rack that I had made for her a few years ago. If you look closely at the bottom photo, you may be able to see them at the top of the photo.
